About: Eric Taylor
Background: Eric began playing drums in local churches in the DC Area at the age if 15. He began to appreciate and understand the importance of different styles of music while singing for the world renound Eastern High School Choir. After playing for over 15 years Eric has incorporated many styles of music into his style of play. From Gospel to R&B to Jazz, his style has opened many doors of opportunity. He has played in many different venues in DC and thoughout the country. He also has played for some of Americas top musicians and vocalists. They are as follows: the late Rev. Dr. Donald Vails, Kirk Franklin, Richard Smallwood, Walter Hawkins, the late Gloria Griffin, Trouble Funk, Kendall King, Michael White and a host of other vocalists and musicians.
